This is the way I feel:

I wish I was a baby giraffe.  Then everyone would love me and say, "Look at the cute baby giraffe. Awwww."

Horrible things are happening in Africa.  Children are being abducted from their homes and forced to be soldiers--either kill or be killed.  This has been going on in Uganda and Sudan and Burundi for the past 20 years and over 200,000 people have died.  I had no clue.  It doesn't seem like many people realize the severity. See for yourself.

I'm really happy about the weather being uncharacteristically warm.  I'm hoping that winter won't come at all and we'll just have summer again.  I want to roll around in the grass and the leaves and just stare at the clouds for a few weeks.  Christmas break is really soon for me.  I can't wait to not have school for a month.  It's going to be like heaven.

It's good to have friends, especially good friends.  Families are good too.  And cars.

I got into a car accident by rear ending a man in a truck in Spartanburg last Thursday.  Luckily no one was injured and the damage to his truck was minimal.  My car however was totaled.  It's curious how quickly things change.  Such is life.

On a lighter note, December 9th is soon approaching.
